Short answers to the questions people ask most.
Start a meeting
On Home, choose Meet now. The meeting starts straight away with you as the host. Copy its link and send it to the people you want to join.
Schedule a meeting
On Home, choose Schedule. Give the meeting a title, pick the day, the start time and how long it lasts, and add the people you want to invite. They get an email with the link, and the meeting shows under Upcoming for everyone invited.
Join a meeting
Open the link you were sent, or type the meeting code (it looks like abc-defg-hij) into Meeting code or link on Home.
Check your camera and mic, then choose Join. If the host lets people in one by one, you wait a moment until they let you in.
In the meeting
The buttons are along the top of the meeting.

| Mic | Mute or unmute yourself. Shortcut: M. |
| Camera | Turn your camera on or off. Shortcut: V. |
| Share | Show your screen, a window or a browser tab to everyone. |
| Reactions | Raise your hand to ask to speak, or send a quick emoji. |
| Chat | Send messages to the people in the meeting. |
| People | See who is here. Hosts let people in and manage them here. |
| More | Present a file, turn captions on or off, and change your settings. |
| Leave | Leave the meeting; it goes on for everyone else. A host can also choose End for everyone, which closes it for all. |
Camera or mic not working
The browser is blocking them. Select the icon beside the address bar, allow the camera and microphone for this site, then reload the page.
Another app is using them. Close other meeting or video apps, then reload the page.
Still not working? Check that the camera or mic is plugged in and chosen in More, then Settings, then reload the page. You can always join without them to watch and listen.
